Is this a good monitor? How is this compare to the HP Omen 27QS currently on sale for $300 at Best buy? All i can tell is the refresh rate is higher on the Omen one. TIA.

I love it. Bought a month ago for 250. I am loving the monitor, for 200 I might grab another one. I use it mostly for games such as CSGO2 or Apex.

Nice find! I actually bought that HP Omen from Best Buy and still have it sitting in a box...thinking of getting this one and returning the HP just because I recently bought my son the Acer Predator from the Newegg Zip Pay deal and this would go nicely with it. I doubt he'll notice the difference between 240hz and 165hz as he mainly plays Fortnite but also wondering if there are any other noteworthy differences between these two displays.

I don't know how much will this matter but the Displayport version on this monitor is the older 1.2 while newer monitors are 1.4 and displayport 2.0 and 2.1 products are starting to come out.

Good observation. The DisplayPort version on the HP Omen from Best Buy is 1.4 for those who are still comparing but it looks like this is no longer available for shipping (pick-up only).

That has a lower DPI, brightness, and refresh rate. The Acer is capable of 270Hz refresh. They are not the same.

If I'm going 32 inches, it needs to be 4k.

Wish they just went with Acer logo instead of having to see "Predator" staring back at me every time I switch it on. Price is solid for the specs though, I'm a bit tempted but will probably just wait until one of the LG 27-inch 1440P high refresh rate monitors goes on sale again.

I have 3 of these. I bought them over 2 years ago. Have been very good panels. They are my triple display gaming monitors and thus us the lowest I've seen them brand new. My 4080 super is a good match but I had a 2080 super when I first purchased these. You can get 144hz with hdmi and 165hz with display port. They also have a 2 port 3.0 usb hub located in the side left bottom. I think the hdr is fine on these and they are nice and vivid. Colors look great. No they aren't the newer display port or 2.1 hdmi but that's OK with me. They work fine with the current gen of gpu's.

Upon checking they are completely sold out at my Microcenter in Hoiston, TX. You can also find this directly from acer as a certified refurbished for $219.00 on Ebay. I bought one when I accidently damaged one in transit. Was my fault. Came with a 1 year warranty and all the items you get when buying it new minus the fancy box. Like I stated in my above comment I had to either buy 3 new monitors from a different manufacturer or type or replace the one panel. I chose to replace the one panel.
