Surprised nobody has mentioned yet that this is from a 3rd party seller on Newegg and they don't have great reviews for the last 12 months. YMMV.
What?? Intel makes laptops??
The catch is mainly the Arc GPU since AMD and NVIDIA GPUs are more reliable/stable. Also, the A550M is close in performance to a RTX 3050 and if you're willing to spend $200 more you can get a similarly specced laptop with a RTX 4060 instead

Whoever owns this please get me some stable diffusion benchmarks, this could be a sleeper in that category due to the gpu ram size. Arc already outperforms amd at ai related tasks.
From what I can tell this was intended to be sold as a sort of barebones laptop where the purchaser would install the ssd and ram. I believe this seller is installing them as is mentioned in the listing. Magnesium case sounds interesting.

Shame on Newegg for opening their site to allow 3rd party sellers (scammers). If I go to Newegg.com that's because I want to buy from them in California, not from some 3rd party, who knows where!!
