The best I've found is the $5 whole chicken at Costco or Amazon, and that requires a half hour to properly debone & shred.

Unfortunately, Wendy's Double is NOT as good as a Five Guys burger (which now costs a whopping $13 in my region), because it lacks grilled mushrooms and grilled onions. Grilled mushrooms and grilled onions add that extra taste that elevate their burger like a fried egg elevates just about anything. Five Guys 1/2 lb burger is arguably the best tasting and best value 'standard' burger you can get under $15 at a sit-down place. Unfortunately for Five Guys, $13 is just way too much vs a $8 Wendy's Double.
If Wendy's ever offered a burger topped with grilled mushrooms, caramelized onions and a fried egg, I'd be in heaven!
I'm actually testing/documenting the issues with the app, so that when I contact the corporate office, I'll have it all documented (screenshots of my phone and photos of other customer's phones). HA, HA....bro!
