Factory Hot Rodded Professional Husqvarna Chainsaws 20 percent off SPRING SALE @ Bailey's

I own the 562xp, can confirm it's the same weight as my 460 Rancher but cuts better and longer, as even early dulled chain stage is equal to sharp 460 chain. A lot of these saws have the CPU controlled fuel/air mixture system to optimize auomatically without experimenting/fooling around/tuning equipment which is necessary for older models. Also it's ideal to add a second saw to your arsenal to do serious woodcutting bc of the chore of chain sharpening.

Resale is really good on these pro saws too! So good choices for the buy/use/sell rental method.

Do NOT do this. No pro or serious woodcutter would even consider this!!

there's enough to proper chain bar tension adjustment, and your loose chain will form twists you will be moving the chain in circular movements for 30 mins trying to get it back on a single circular plane and untangled.
A serious pro brings multiple saws in case one stops or you get one bound up in a tree. If it takes you 30 minutes to change a chain, you need to find another profession.

Logging Workers
Number of fatal injuries (2021): 43
Fatal injury rate: 82 per 100,000 full-time workers
Non-fatal injury rate: 3.1 per 100 full-time workers
Average Salary: $47,900
Most common fatal accident: Contact with objects and equipment
Logging workers harvest forests in order to provide raw building materials. Collectively, workers in this industry harvest thousands of acres of forests annually—often working in isolated environments and during poor weather conditions. Advanced education is not required in this profession, and many logging workers receive on the job training to learn to operate specialized logging machinery and follow best practices for safety in the forests.
Many fatalities among logging workers occur due to the dangerous physical nature of their work and as a result of problems with the heavy equipment they must use to process downed logs.

tree work is probably the most dangerous job in the US you can do, as far as chances of getting hurt or dying...

but ive only seen professionals use Stihl chainsaws....
Not sure why you posted these stats. As for what the pros use, a lot has to do with the local support and the discounts you get. I have seen pros use Stihl, Echo, Husqvarna and the occasional old Dolmar that is now part of Makita.

but I'm not a pro, we only do the serious work a couple weeks a year. many serious woodsmen have little to no college or even trade school, they confess and show videos of having serious trouble straightening these chains, the longer the chain the more it can tangle. the circular tangles can go left or right and there's no one easy physical method to work out all the problems. we like to sharpen the tools but we're not the sharpest tools in the shed. Further what you suggest is not the main reason for a second saw, the safest and best way to free a saw is mall and plastic wedges, or an axe will do the job. Save yourself a fortune if that is your main reason for a second saw.

jumble up a couple of chains in a box bag or heap, post your video of yourself getting the chains all sorted out. show me in practice, I guarantee you will be wasting your time. big time.

Wait, this is what's really preventing serious pros from swapping chains, not the forgetting where they put their scrench, dropping the bar nuts in the mud, or grueling ordeal of not moving the tensioner with the cover off, keeping the teeth in the sprocket and groove while putting it back on, and retightening enough but not too much? Allow me to introduce the Snap and Store:

I know a 20" chain will easily fit without any crossovers. I'm sure a 24" will too, but for the serious pro:

I've got a Dolmar PS-5000. Bought it new in 2015? Great saw.

I'm just not understanding what you're trying to say here. You don't believe in swapping chains, you don't believe in storing chains ... you believe in only owning one chain per saw?

Well, if so, good luck with that, hope it works out well for you.

He's saying that it's better to have saws ready to go on the job. Deal with chains, etc., back in the shop after the field work is done.
You can't be stopping to mess with chains, etc., and have others waiting on you.

make the vid of you using whatever tools/aids/fresh chains you like, swapping out chains. I'll time you and tell you if it beats out the the time to sharpen a couple of complete saws up in the shop. and If you can beat me in a good day's worth of wood productivity I'll buy you that pro saw of your dreams!! EEK!

I'm not saying changing chains doesn't ultimately work, I said it's easier and faster in the shop. with wood splits .they so cumulative heavy, but when tired can go do easier work in the workshop , GET MY SAWS ALL SHARPENED UP THERE! Generally need them on a saw bar to use most sharpening tools anyways
