If you get a boysenberry pie from the original creators of the boysenberry at Knotts Berry Farm then it tastes like heaven. They were jarring it as a jam/jelly/preserve but I think they discontinued it recently. All boysenberries in the world originate from Knotts.
It's sweet and not overly tart. I'm terrible at explaining what it's like, but no other fruit pie comes close to it (course a pie has other ingredients) I don't think I've ever eaten the berry by itself. The reviews on this manufacturer are not the good and ingredients posted by someone else look terrible. You'd probably ruin boysenberry forever if this was your first try.

Paid $3.57 AC SS15. Not sure I even know what boysenberry tastes like.
No idea how this syrup tastes, but boysenberry is a cross between raspberry and blackberry. To me it tastes like a slightly more tart blackberry, but has a softer texture than a blackberry.

As someone who has never eaten a boysenberry can anyone chime in on what it tastes like?

Ingredients list fruit and vegetable juice, but the label says 0% juice?
