I like the LiDAR for measuring things, the mini led is easier on the eyes when reading and watching movies, Face ID is light years better than touch to me, 120 refresh is a HUGE difference if u go back. Imo the pro is easily worth it if it's in your budget. I agree on the processor tho, m1,m2,m3 will be the same
My iPad Pro 2018 is only 44gb used
Did they incorporate the lamination on 10th gen iPad?
Private message me. I'll explain.

Slick deals a few years back), 65" QDOLED Samsung tv in the living room, Alienware QDLED monitor & 48" LG OLED TV for my PC editing / gaming setup
I want to get an iPad Pro for photoshop, Lightroom, Final Cut Pro, davinici resolve but am waiting for an OLED model to make it worth the purchase because other than that I can edit on my MacBook or PC, but my MacBook is too big sometimes to lug around lol. The iPad Pro will also replace my 9th gen iPad for school but I want to make sure if I'm going to spend 1k it'll have a beautiful screen that I'm use to
Hoping the new iPads announces this year will have OLED
Again TRY using Davinci on a base model! You NEED the pro or at the very least Air…
There is no need for anyone to critize anyone planning to buy an IPAD,.... and you do understand this, and pointed out that if you use the programs you just listed , why you need higher tier IPAD. Makes sense.
Now, I and tons of us are just using the lower IPAD's 9th gen and higher models just to do simple stuff like surf the web, watch movies, and listen to music , and facetime, and other cool apps and mid-range games on these devices. So that is why I picked up the IPAD 9th gen with 64gb. It is great, I am using about 18 gb with games on it and OS, with about 44 gb free. I could remove apps and games I'm not using, to give me more free storage. Also with the IPAD you get iCloud 5 gb Storage free. And with new ipad I get 3 months music, 3 months apple tv, 3 months arcade, and other perks.
So for 249 dollars new, the IPAD 9th gen is great for me.
The discussion is rightly on, what an individual wants to use the device for, ... is the device for 4 year old, or over 65 year old, ...or casual user having it in their lap as the watch stuff on Big HDTV screen, and just research stuff on the ipad or chat, post in forum rooms, email.
Love my Apple (and Microsoft Surface) products, but this has always been a strange one to me.
It's a big deal. Honestly, for ME. The iPad Pro is worth the premium just for that. The LiDAR/120 refresh are just icing.

Face ID and 120 pro-motion makes a huge difference even for just "browsing". Candy crush looks way better on a 120, microled. The laminated display is crucial for a sunny day outside too. Get the pro if it's in your budget. Face ID alone makes a huge difference, almost a different experience all together

Some people need to do more intensive tasks on the IPAD, and of course it makes sense they get a more powerful IPAD, (I totally agree).
