Was at Costco yesterday and saw this priced at $19.99. Took a pic of it and came to checkout and asked clerk to price check to make sure the price was not a mistake and was delighted at the price. Bought one. Will post pic of the price if I can. (can't see option in app right now)
(apologies. The pic of price is blurry but it tells you the model # and price and I wasn't hallucinating!)

Any chance someone knows the price of these at the Brooklyn NY warehouse?

Would rather not waste 2+ hours commuting round trip if its still $90 there.

Why not give them a call and have them check the price over the phone?

how do we check price for $19 ? Online chat don't have local store price

Called your local Costco and provided them with the item #, and they will tell how many are left and the price of the phone.

Does this have the "press 1" kind of method to screen robocalls before ringing?
That seemed like an effective feature to have that'd tempt me to upgrade my never used landline (Ooma from the 2000s)

What are these even used for?

ObiTalk + Google Voice Number = personal land line.

You then have 4 phones that will ring vs one.

Really? My calls were not that.

It was always a threat by the Indian IRS department. I tried to call them back, but I told them I couldn't understand and just hung up.

Great phone. I use the call block where they have to enter a code to connect. Stops 99% of junk calls. I use it with my Ooma line.

Just the 8 NiMh batteries would run you close to $20 at some stores. Lots of us still need 'Cordless' phones to make use of our VOIP/LTE Wireless Home Phone or landline equivalent to enable alarm systems to call out or for home office purposes where we might use ancient technology fax enabled printer/scanners. Will check it out at my Costco.
Be careful... the included NiMh batteries have a very low capacity rating... they're not comparable to the ones people normally buy.

We haven't had a true landline since the 1990s, but I stubbornly held on to VoIP linked to the 12 Panasonic DECT phones we have in the house. Ooma was great quality but realistically more like $17/month if you want call screening which was table stakes for me.

Anyway, we figured out two people don't need three phone numbers. so we moved our old "landline" number to one of our mobile phones, discontinued Ooma, and I configured the Link2Cell feature on the Panasonic system. It has worked great. Two mobile phones ring through to the house phones if we are home.

So this phone has the automatic feature that needs callers to press a button before it even rings?
The product description didn't seem to list this feature?? It just mentions "Tele.blk" button to be pressed to screen callers..

Can someone confirm?

Yep... you can program in a 3 digit access code that the phone tells the caller to enter before it connects them. It won't ask for callers it recognizes or who have already entered the code successfully... of course you need Caller ID services for this to work but who doesn't have that these days?

If caller does not enter the code, then you are undisturbed.

I must be old as dirt. Still use my Panasonic phones with a $10 / mo google fiber phone line add on. It's handy for a lot of things, though I mainly use it for work.

I hear you. So much smarter and better to beam the brain cancer straight from your cell phone. I find the Panasonics much easier to hold, aside from the safety factor. Plus my cell phone is free to multitask.

My parents live in BFE(ZERO cell service) but have starlink and still have land lines and even those are barely even called compared to wifi calling with there cell phones. Pretty crazy how cheap these are these days. Can't imagine these cost much less to manufacture compared to the sale price.

We still use 20 year old ones similar to these as paging devices/two way radois around the house. Beats yelling.
