Anyway, my tried and true-- from the pot, goes in into the mug scorching hot. Then, in the car lid gets twisted off, sip and try but usually too hot so drive drive. At parking lot after 40min drive, put cap back on.
Nice and toasty.

I've owned it since 2019. Works great still. The latch on the front will be in your way. Your bottom lip will fit between the latch and the sipping mouth piece. It's kind of awkward if your mouth is full of powdered sugar and you're trying to drink hot coffee from it, it'll be messy.

That would be the only design flaw or improvement I'd like.

This thermos exterior stays cool, room temp. no cozy needed. Inside heat is all retained.

I have the smokey blue and a black one.

The lid latches on these break easily. Happened to mine and you see it in the reviews, too. Replacement latch cost something like $16 shipped and was out of stock for six months.

I found 2 brand new older style Contigo bottles in my cabinet. I found a cleaning procedure for the cap online.

Holy cow! You have to remove screws, tiny springs, rings, and gasket to do deep cleaning.

Zojirushi USA has the absolute worst customer service / warranty of any company I've ever experienced in my entire life. I strongly suggest against buying any if their products. Tiger Corporation makes better products and better customer service.
