For a minute I thought this was a great deal, only to realize it's the digital version. The release day price for the version was $400, and has been constantly having sales with bundles. So don't think this is great deal.

I like the slim ps5 version better than original and has grown on me coming from a ps4 slim

Unfortunately ps4 pro probably isn't worth much anymore. Mine is also collecting dust. I regret not doing a trade in years ago. Eventually lost interest with all the stock delays. If a new last of us or uncharted game came out, I'd have more urgency to get ps5

Yeah, sadly it looks like a refurb ones from GameStop are as low as $199. I paid $300 for mine and it barely got use. Frown

Something I didn't see anyone else mention is that when you buy the physical disc version of the game, you physically own that copy of the game. If you download a digital version, you "own" it up until the point that Sony decides to discontinue support of PlayStation 5 and its marketplace.

Not such a big issue now, but further down the road when newer console gens are released. Imagine if you had digital versions of PS2 or PS3 games that you wanted to play today. You won't be able to since Sony no longer provides support for those console generations.

I was just playing on a PS3 last month and still had access to games I bought 16 years ago when I first bought a PS3.

So so far so good. Obviously those servers won't be up forever and some purchases may disappear if companies completely go bankrupt without their assets being bought by another company.

But that's why I try to buy then as cheap as possible.

Agreed... Sony is greedy like the rest. The price will go down when people don't waste their time with them. I kept looking for a reason to buy a ps5 and it never came. Keep up the good work Sony, and thank you Insomniac for the new ratchet and clank. Nice game but was a bit short
