Nice signature scent, I picked up a few bottles. More mature and sophisticated than most Polo frags, woody lavender

Scooped this the other day because of this deal. Got free same day delivery through Walgreens. My wife and I both like the scent. Thanks!

Would enlighten us the difference? Which one is better or lasts longer and hence I am guessing costly?
So the breakdown is as follows, and is all based on how much of the fragrance oil is in the composition:
Eau Fraiche < Eau de Cologne < Eau de Toilette < Eau de Parfum < Extrait de Parfum/Pure Perfume
As the composition includes more of the oils and essence, it will generally have more longevity and a greater sillage and projection. It doesn't necessarily mean that it will be more costly though. There are LOADS of great EDPs and plenty of pure perfumes out there for extremely cheap. And there are also some EDTs that last a long time. A fragrance that has multiple versions of itself, like an EDT and an EDP version, can smell very different between the two as well. And just because something has more actual juice in it doesn't automatically mean it's going to last a while or be strong; I was disappointed to find that a new EDP I got two days ago which smells amazing barely lasts a few hours on my skin; I generally stick to buying things that are going to last 8~ hours.

A good place to check out a particular fragrance, to see what the note breakdown is, find community input on longevity and sillage, see what fragrances are similar, and read reviews, is Fragrantica.
