If you don't have total plus, you might as well get it for $50 instead of paying for the laptop at $699 without it since you'll have access to other deals coming for the year of the membership.

Unless you need a 14.5" screen size, the recent 15.6" Creator deal, unless I am missing something, may be a better deal (if you can wait for it to hopefully come back) for only $116 more, unless you want extra battery life:

15.6 i9 Creator benefits over this 14.5 i7 Zenbook:

i9-13900H (vs i7-13700H)
RX3050 (noticeably better than an Iris Xe), although neither is enough for gaming, but this is not a gaming laptop)
1 TB SSD (vs 512GB SSD)
RAM on the Creator is upgradeable to 40GB for about $83 - $90 (by adding a 32GB SODIMM to the 8GB of soldered RAM). The Zenbook supports only 16GB which may be fine for most, but just calling it out for those who want more RAM.

(The Creator may even support 56GB).

Battery life on the Creator is better than I expected given complaints, but still going to try the Lenovo Z16 32GB due to its amazing battery life, sleek looks and build quality and that Lenovo keyboard I loved on both my prior ThinkPads.

If the Zenbook has better battery life than the Creator, then that could be a major deciding factor in favor of the Zenbook

I need a 15.6 - 16" laptop and 32GB+ of RAM, so for me it will either be the Creator (which I own) or the Z16 32GB laptop which is on the way.

This is a much better deal than the galaxy book 2 that was posted recently but remember there are issues with OLED displays you should be sure you like them before paying for it

My Open Box Fair is ready to pick up. I have never bought Open Box from BB before. Any tips on checking the device's functionalities is much appreciated. Does it come with any warranty?

BB prices are better than most places and if you have the BestBuy Total plan, all Apple gear comes with AppleCare+ for free. The savings really add up if you're buying a lot of tech (which I do). I've saved TONS not only buying during BB sales and Open Box but get 2 years warranty and AppleCare+ on Apple gear.

I wouldn't buy the $49 membership just for this one purchase if you don't think you'll ever buy more.

Purchased this for my girlfriend during Black Friday for $700. Absolutely love it and would recommend it. The OLED display is amazing, high performance, great I/O, thin & light.

The only issue is build quality relative to a MacBook Pro (what my girlfriend was originally considering but that was $2100+) but definitely very good for $700.

I ordered this one for pick up a few months ago in "good" condition and it had a big dent on the lid. I could see that it didn't affect functionality but it just wasn't worth the few bucks savings so I walked away from it. I'm sure it's case by case.

Well you get an extra month to return it for $50 so I think it's worth it in this case.

FYI - the product description says it has a fingerprint sensor, but it does not.

Other then that, the laptop is great. I got open box good a month ago and it was in great condition.

My only thing about not pulling the trigger on this, from some quick research these 13th Gen models only come in 8/16gb's of ram. 24,32,40gb are no where to be found unless you step up to the 15/15x and above.

While 16gb is good for most, it doesn't suite all users needs. This model is a good deal. Make sure you will be comfortable purchasing this laptop (or others) that have their ram soldered to the mobo. As these are not upgradable.

So plan ahead, and shoot for a little more even if you don't think you will need it. Better to have it and know you have an extra buffer if needed.

My 2 cents.

Yes. I have the i5/8GB version and am looking to step up to this model. The screen is top tier with wide color gamut, so it is perfect for photo editing.
