Better to pay a little more and buy a US model.
What's interesting is that others said it has US writing on the back and not Chinese, maybe it was a fluke for that guy ( pun intended
"This does have the Fluke name so you would be correct in thinking that this would be a good choice and you would be confident purchasing this. DO NOT think that for one second. Within the Warranty Period (1 Year) the LCD screen died on this meter. I contacted Fluke and Technical Support told me I had a defective meter and then transferred me to the Service Department to discuss my "options". Service immediately told me this is not Fluke, it is Fluke China and that any warranty claim would need to go through them. No phone number only an email address. [email protected]
I do not appreciate having to contact China for a warranty claim that one would not be wrong in thinking would be honored by a company with a reputation and history like the one Fluke enjoys. I would think twice before you buy this. For the money this meter costs, there are other Made in China Multi Meters that cost less and are probably made in the same factory. I am so disappointed and I will most likely never purchase Fluke products again.
Now for an update. Even though I bought this directly from Amazon, not the Amazon Marketplace, I was told by Fluke that this model should never have been sold in the United States. Fluke China never honored the Warranty, and Amazon has not given me a full refund. Save yourself from the aggravation I have been put through and buy a different Multi Meter with a Warranty."

A little after two years, using it at most 5 times, screen flickers and the partial reading I can see is definitely off.
That was a well-reviewer $30 unit.
I would happily pay $90 if I can use this for the next 10 years and not have to worry about whether or not it will work the next time I need it.
