I agree with the above post, BT is a bit of a pain, it takes a while to handshake and then takes a bit to download, especially if you are pushing the two week max internal memory and are far away. Still, I enjoy using them and it's really interesting to see temp and humidity in places like basements, attics, and other random places and have a historical graph for it all.
Yes, Wifi would be nice, and yes, it's odd that the app has a temperature alert but it only works if you leave the app open. Kind of pointless.
All in all, at this price, I still think it's a solid deal.

Why the ink ones?
The e-ink ones use expensive button batteries.
You can wire one 18500 battery or 2 AAs battery to the back. Or if you want something a little better, dollar tree has those cheap led string lights that work on 2 AAs. If you cut the battery compartment from those lights, then you attach the positive and negative wires to the inside of the govee thermometer. The batteries will last a long time and will be cheap to replace them when it's time.
I just bought the ink ones because you can see them easier. I attached an 18500 battery for now.
