I'd like to thank everyone who has gone out of their way to point out that a product called "Cinnamon Toast Crunch Creamy Cinnamon Spread" is not a health food. This really upends my diet plans.

It sounds so amazing, and that's why I can't buy it. Haha.

What exactly is it used on? Is it similar to peanut butter? Could you simply make a sandwich, with some jam or jelly and some of this Cinnamon Toast Crunch spread stuff? Or, what do you use it for/ how do you eat it?

Yes its definitely best to get a concensus opinion and explicit approval from random strangers on the internet before you eat anything.

I honestly wasn't sure what their tone was intended to be like; but I did suspect that they may have been trying to be a smartass. However, I legitimately hadn't seen the information; so, it was helpful and I did appreciate that it had been brought to my attention.

If that person was trying to be an asshole, though, I regret that I was so courteous and appreciative in my comment. 🙂

I think the larger point is that crap like this should stop being made and stop being sold. It's complete garbage. No one would down a half cup of sugar in one sitting because it's inherently bad. But if you package it up into a spread than people are more likely to think it's an "acceptable" food when it's complete trash and horrible for you. They should regulate highly sugary foods the way they do alcohol
You probably wouldn't approve of my go-to snack as a kid. I'd make 4 slices of white bread toast, slather butter/margarine on each slice, then cover each slice in sugar and cinnamon. Then microwave for like 30 seconds. The sugar, cinnamon and butter would turn into a glaze. So good.

All candy is pure sugar and most kids live on candy. Are you one of those people that gives out apples on Halloween?

There's nothing wrong with sugar. Not sure how people got guilt-tripped into thinking that. The two oils in there are probably the least healthy of all the ingredients but even then it's not that bad in moderation.
