Only 3 of the 8 local libraries I've called were handing out eclipse glasses. They don't seem to have a lot in stock either, because the one closest to me will give out one set per family. Two of the libraries won't start giving them out until April 1st, so if you aren't one of the lucky few to get a pair at the library, you'll have to pay premium prices elsewhere.

This particular brand, Medical King, is on the AAS approved vendors list. https://eclipse.aas.org/eye-safet...rs-filters

The seller is based out of Brooklyn, NY. Hopefully they bought in bulk, directly from Medical King, and are reselling. On the Medical King website 100 pack currently goes for $69.99.

Only glasses rated ISO 12312-2 are truly most effective.

Get a brand and seller you will trust.
Lots of counterfeits out there.

This is sold by "Zaxbo" ...so, who knows.

Agree with above that some libraries hand them out.
mine didn't last time, but home Depot had them for a low price.

I just bought a pack, not sure if it's this brand. I'll be in Oklahoma City for the eclipse. Won't get the full eclipse there but enough to make it interesting.

I'd stray away from these. Looking at the sun is no joke, like others have mentioned go with reputable brands and if you're buying from Amazon make sure they're from reputable stores.

I have a 10-pack of Lunt Solar Systems ones arriving today. Lunt, Baader, Celestron are some good brands.

Got from amazon Celestron – EclipSmart Safe Solar Eclipse Glasses Family 4-Pack for $12. Will visit Warby Parker store bear me to get free solar glasses between April 1-7. Will travel to west ohio to see total eclipse which will be visible for 2.5 minutes.

I bought some from Lowe's in December for $0.57/pair, but they've raised the price to $2.48.
