Edit: I thought this was a charging stand in that it had batteries to charge the Echo itself. In fact it just charges things though the base through USB C interface. I retract my statement. Not super useful.

The adjustable base is useful and it also makes it sit a bit higher I love my adjustable base with my Show 8 which cost more but did not provide USB C charging.
This. I bought a stand for my 10" echo show years ago and never used it once. In fact, I never use my echo show either. What we have here then is: "why does this exist stuff TO BE USED WITH why does it exist stuff".
