Amazing book! The elevator pitch is Canterbury Tales in space, but it's very well done and the sequels are ace as well. Totally worth the $2.

Ok I think I did read them all then. I'm misremembering book 1 and 2 as book 1 and 3 and 4 as book 2.

I just got an email back from Amazon that March 15th is 2x Kindle Rewards points day - I'm not too familiar with this program, but looks like I got double points for purchasing this today (rcv'd 12 points versus 6 points without 2x). CGI is maybe getting to just good enough to do justice to Martin Silenus' house... still needs a while. Too early to think of adapting for TV.

This one was great. Unlike some in the thread, I found the second book overwhelming. It was neat to see it all come together, but it was a lot.

I Audibled both 1 and 2, so maybe reading would be different.
