Air Fryer Ovens: NS‑AF10DBK2 and NS‑AF10DSS2

Best Buy, in cooperation with the U.S Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and Health Canada, is voluntarily recalling certain models of Insignia air fryers and air fryer ovens. The air fryers can overheat, causing the handles to melt or break, posing fire and burn hazards. Additionally, the air fryer ovens can overheat and the glass on the door can shatter, posing fire, burn and laceration hazards.

Correct, you also have to show the cut cord in the pic. IDK whats going on with insignia since this is the 2nd fryer i have had recalled from them.

I can cut cords everyday, not a big deal with a wire cutter, but the writing with the special marker on the apparatus is a problem.

I bought my Insignia 10 Qt Digital Air Fryer Oven model NS-AF10DBK2 back in Feb of 2022 on a Frontpage Slickdeal.

It has been recalled.

Several models apply, you might want to check yours.
I do not believe this is an exhaustive list, when I was on the website I thought I saw more in the pick list. Here are a few.

· NS-AF10DSS2


You can submit for reimbursement (Best Buy Gift Card or Check) here

You'll have to snip the cord, Sharpie a unique code provided to you on it and snap a picture and upload as proof.
No receipt needed for mine, $50 being offered as reimbursement for my particular model. If you paid more, you can upload a receipt.
