FYI, if anyone is wondering, the ads are skipped using ublock origin. I have been on the ad subscription for 2.99 per month for a while and no ads when I watch in my browser.

Not a deal like the old deals, but none of them are anymore. This is pretty decent with the Amex (varies per cardholder) or Chase (below) combined with it. I only purchase commercial free 4K, so this would work for me (using Chase $35) to be less than $9 a month.

Chase

yeah, crazy to make it worse in the middle of the promotion. They must see too many redeeming cash back offers on it.

Not sure it's legal either. The prior ads said it's through April 9. Maybe a class action lawyer will jump on it. Could be easy money. At any rate, it's definitely sleazy.

Just shows you how bad of a company they become. I wish people would just boycott this greedy company. Who raises prices in the middle of a promotion.

i had the same deal until my virtual cc stop working and they canceled my account. However, was never able to block ads, but what is nice is that their original content is ad free on the basic subscription.

Apologies for not reading 29 pages.

I'm on an ads plan for six months $2.99 per month, next billing date tomorrow, and the six months ends late May. It looks like I can get the 40% off annual plan for no-ads. What will happen if I buy that today? Will it override the existing plan and start a 12-month no-ads plan now, since I haven't paid in advance for the current plan? TIA.

HBO charging extra for 4K got me back into piracy after years of paying for my content like a good boy. Never again.

This is less than $99. I'm guessing Amex offer won't kick in ! Would have been nice to double dip.
Get the 4k option and you're good.
