Notice the difference in wording between this and the Office Depot Chase offer. On the Office Depot Chase offer, it says "Earn 5% cash back on all of your Office Depot purchases, until a $5.50 cash back maximum is reached."
However, on this offer, it says "Earn 10% cash back on your The Home Depot purchase, with a $54.00 cash back maximum." And then it also says later "Offer valid One time only." (which it did not say by the Office Depot offer).
So it seems very clear that this will only work on your first purchase, and not multiple purchases.
Thanks! I was looking for this information.
I purchased $500 digital gift card, and it now shows I saved $50. So for those who wonders if you need digital vs physical card, digital works

I ordered 2 x $200 BP GC & 1 x $100 Wendy's GC. I had $40 credited to my chase account. HD charged my card twice, once for $400 for BP and another $100 for Wendy's.

Hope this helps.
PS The cards all came together in 1 envelope...
So you only got the $40 back on the BP GC, not Wendy's. Seems only the first charged transaction gets it, which could be random.

From chase offer disclaimer:
" It is possible that a merchant may split your purchase into multiple transactions. In this case, you may only receive your statement credit on the first transaction amount. If this occurs, please call the number on the back of your card. "
My purchase got split into 3 separate charges due to it being shipped from 3 locations. I only got cashback on the 1st charge. I had to call my chase cc and request for them to give me 10% on the entire purchase. Escalation case pending for 10-14 days for cash back adjustment.

e-gift card or they mailing you a physical?
No. It was a tool.
Mine was an actual product purchase not a gift card.
Physical and got this like a week after purchase
Did you purchased online or instore?

I've seen others post the same in other fora, but no info on final posted transaction
Offer has not been redeemed yet, but that's not unusual
