This or SVS PB1000 Pro?
These outperform the PB2000 pro IIRC but without the app or ability to run in sealed mode. An insane deal for $699 when the PB2000 pro is $1100.

I have dual pb1000 and will get a pair of these to replace. Love the copper look since i have klipsch speakers. Now that klipchs makes good subs, gotta go back to them.

Sealed subs are technically better right?
No, not really. A properly designed ported sub will do everything audible better than a similarly priced sealed sub... unless you lie on the floor with your ear near the ports. In which case, go home.

I was praying for this deal to come back as I bought one of Adorama's sub-less home theater combos in December and desperately need a sub (or two!).

However, as many other people have pointed out in other Adorama threads, there is definitely an issue with how their packages are handled. Four out of the five boxes I received from that kit were mangled in one way or another: holes, rips, cracked styrofoam, etc. I didn't return anything since the equipment seemed to work, but it was interesting to see how many other people here on SD had similar complaints.

I'm setting up a media room. So its enclosed.
You still need proper placement for optimal performance.

Good thing about enclosed, you don't need anything this big or ported, depending on your preference.

Good to pair the Denon AVR-X3800H with this sub along with a good set of Klipsch speakers?

It depends on what you are expecting and preference.

Environment and proper placement play a significant role also.

In general sealed provides a more accurate sound, ported gives you lower extension sound.

If you're seriously considering, just stop and buy it. You won't regret it. I would consider getting another but I value my marriage.
