No way
Oh god it's back 🥵
These outperform the PB2000 pro IIRC but without the app or ability to run in sealed mode. An insane deal for $699 when the PB2000 pro is $1100.

I've got a Jamo/Klipsch 12" and it totally overwhelms the room! Great fun! Two? Ha ha. That would be like a 2000 hp drag car to commute to work with!

Is this a noticeable upgrade from an SVS PB12-NSD?

Has anyone owned both?

This is a huge step up from that 12".

I've not, but I can make an educated guess based on measurements from the product lines. This Klipsch is a step up in size and power, but it's probably not worth replacing the PB12 unless you have an insane need for bass. The PB12 is plenty for most people.

This or quadruple the price and add a couple years for the tools, materials, and experience+knowledge-building to build four similar subs? And then still have the experience, knowledge, and tools?

I'm always indecisive when it comes to this and I miss the deals. I currently have an Klipsch SPL-120 in my open concept kitchen/living room which is alright. I have little experience with home theater so would replacing the SPL-120 with the RP-1400sw be worth it. Or keep it and have both? Thank you guys.

Anyone have experience with Rythmik L12 or F12 servo subwoofers and how this would compare?

Would this pair well with an ancient SVS 25-31 PCI?

What receiver is the best to unleash the potential of this sub?

Any receiver with subwoofer output. Receiver is only sending a signal with very little power. That's why the subwoofer must supply own power.

Massive upgrade, especially in the lower frequency ranges.

As someone else with an open floor plan, a bigger sub with more output will help, but we'll never get the whole room "pressurized" as they say.

The Klipsch is a better value and will get louder with less distortion. In normal times, The Ryhtmik would be a better value, but not when this guy is on sale.

I have one spl-150 and I was planning on adding another. Is it acceptable to add this rp-1400 to the spl-150 or should I just order two and sell the spl-150?

Side note - the spl-150 sounds fantastic
Having 2 different subs rules. They each cover a bit different spectrum, so if you eq it right the response is better than any single design sub.

Yes, it's a different class imo.

In basic terms, if you're after plug n play rattle your windows/walls low extension get this & less expensive.

The Rythmik's are more refined/detailed especially with servo.
The jump to the servo is worth the money imo.
