18% of your daily value of sugar in just 1/3 cup of this. Don't know about yall but a cup is a serving for me!
Otherwise, why not just boil some potatoes?

I haven't yet tried the sweet potato flavor - as this is the first time I've seen it on sale!!! - but I have tried several other flavors and think they're pretty good. (Not as good as making from scratch, but good enough to enjoy.)

This is a lot faster. It takes minutes and you don't have to peel potatoes and wait long. This can be done easily at home, work, on the go. Not everyone has access to a stove at work etc. I'm sure it's out of convenience. I haven't tried this one yet but the regular russet types I've had. I do the same thing with premade rice. Sometimes you just want a meal in under 10 minutes!

Why not just slice and fry some potatoes instead of going to McDonald's? Americans love convince.
