XXXX - Not sure if Amazon changed supplier but I got 2 boxes last time they went on sale and they're pretty crap. The drawstring never wants to pull in all the way and the plastic feels more like cheap thin stuff vs the thicker, glossier version before. ---- XXXX

Nvm, just realize these are the flex bags.
The ones I got in were the normal ones.

Edit: These are actually the non-flextra ones, FYI.

Project farm might have the answer for you:

Personally I think it's comparable based on the test result, but couple of the test categories bumped Amazon basics down from Costco

Always check project farm on YouTube for 100% unbiased product reviews…recently did one on trash bags. I use the Amazon basics, and in my experience the flex performed worse than the regular.

Agree on the drawstring. Price compared to name brand is tempting and unless you are throwing out shards of glass, the Amazon Basics are strong enough. Every time I close a bag, I remember why it is worth it to pay more.

Silly gripe, but you shouldn't need to close a trash bag like you are threading a lost string through a pair of sweats!

I got these once before during an Amazon basics sale and they are terrible for any trashcan I have.

In my view, these are only useful if you're not installing on a trashcan and just using free hand. They stretch and rip as soon as they go in.

Back to Costco for me
