I had the same opinion until I forgot my shoes one round and had to wear my buddy's old ones that were about a half size too large... I haven't worn spikes since.

Of course, it's all individual preference.

Ecco also stands behind their stuff. Had to send a pair back a season or two ago. They issued me full credit back even though the shoes were worn almost a full season (shoe/sole separated).

I'm a big fan of Ecco.

Maybe? I've played in wet/soaked ground with a number of my Eccos and haven't had issues. They also make some spiked shoes too.

I was skeptical of their warranty. But they stood behind their shoes for me. I'm a huge fan of them. Picked up some nice BOAs last black Friday. These prices are insane.

Picked up a couple. Could not resist.

I play a lot of golf and these are comfy. My spiked shoes have barely gotten any use due to me always using these. I wore them for a full season of golf and caddying. Waterproofing is still intact.
