This is the recently released MacBook Air M3 w/ 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. Best price I've seen so far on this configuration. Unfortunately, it's in-store only.
Other options include Apple Store for Education at $1399 and Costco at $1449 (w/ 2yr warranty).
The M3 in the M3 Air can support two external screens (with internal screen closed). The M3 in the M3 Pro (14" Base model) can support just one, but that should be fixed soon: https://www.zdnet.com/article/thi...cbook-air/

Exactly. Dont get why people are spending for them $50 hassling with price matches or driving out of their wait for an MC. If one is local then ok, but they popularity of this for 50 bucks is astonishing
The savings could be more if done strategically. Take this 15" macbook air for example that Microcenter sells for $1530[microcenter.com] while Apple sells for $1699. That's $170 difference. A BestBuy or retail store in a no sales tax location (Delaware, New Hamphsire, Enterprise zones...etc) that price matches $1530 could save you another ~$130 in tax. That's a $300 discount (or ~$200 if compared to the Apple EDU price).
After really trying to adjust to a Mac with an M2 MacBook Air, I had to give up and return to windows. The notch screen, the lack of good window management, and the lack of software that is optimized for Apple silicone Macs were the dealbreakers. I agree that the touchpad is superb, as is battery life, but that is only part of the experience.

So just a heads up to double check your trade-in value. I think there's a glitch on the Best Buy website for at least some models because I received $820 trade-in credit for my 2019 macbook pro 16" with i7 processor (16gb ram /512gb SSD).
For reference, Apple offered $450, Costco offered $325, and Best Buy Phone offered $350.
