From what I can tell the SanDisk has a slightly faster read/write time (150 mpbs vs 130 mpbs) but the Samsung is rated better at video and has faster minimum read/write speeds with apps.
To answer your question, when you consider the Samsung was $25 and this SanDisk is $28, I would think the Samsung slightly edges it. Although if you're using the card strictly for data transfer of files and the like, the SanDisk should be the better choice.
The Samsung is currently $30 though...
Either way 512 GB for under 30$ is awesome. I still remember how amazed I was at seeing the first 1gb card
They don't want you expanding your memory so that you use/pay for their Cloud services. Easy money for them!

Doesn't Samsung have better write consistency than SanDisk? Over long term constant writing?

I used to believe Sandisk microsd was the top until I had a few failed ones. Switched to Samsung and never had an issue since. YMMV but just my experience.

The read/write speeds are very similar. Warranty for each is 10 years. I purchased the Samsung SSD card. There are too many complaints about SanDisk honoring the warranty.

A1 vs A2 which one is better?
