OK man, I just don't see how they can **** up a prybar and a hammer. Again, I don't see how it's a deal just because you don't like harbor freight. This isn't load bearing screws or a toolbox or a specialized screw. It's a ******* hammer and a pry bar.
Serious question. Will a regular hammer like this break car reinforced windows from the inside if the car was to fall into lake/pond? Saw the news about billionaire woman dying in a Tesla when it fell into a pond because modern car depends so much on electricity to operate door handle and windows nowadays. I just thought I should have something to keep in the glove compartment with my first aids kit, flash light, etc., in case I need to break the windows from inside. Or is there something else better and more compact for the task?
Pretty sure this is the case with any car unless you have an old roller style window. Once a car is submerged, trying to open the door is trying to push the body of water
Got it last time it was on a daily deal from HD. Can't complain it's exactly what I'd expect from Milwaukee.
Whoever wrote about the cheaper HF hammer and pry bar, you are correct, but I feel like whoever is buying the Milwaukee $10 more expensive one is either getting the convenience of free shipping/curbside, the peace of mind Milwaukee's quality control gives you and it won't be a hit or miss, or simply buying into the lifestyle.
Anyone have a recommendation on a hammer with a nail setter but a smooth non-milled face?
first, unless you're doing framing, get a lighter hammer. 22 oz is heavy and clumsy for most smaller work. Closer to 16oz is comfortable for a lot of jobs. Estwing makes nice hammers. No opinion on the nail setter feature, with time you'll eventually start missing your thumb and hitting the nail; gentle taps first!
You can get a prybar and a hammer of similar make for $18 at harbor freight or cheap out on the hammer and get both for $9. Don't see how this is a deal.

Get a car window breaker. It's a small thing specially made for that.

I work at a mine. All the CAT haul trucks come with a window breaker/seat belt cutter device attached near the window.
It looks similar to this
Amazon Basics Emergency Seat Belt Cutter and Window Hammer Tool, Car Accessories, 2 Pack https://a.co/d/fdfB9pQ
Simple grinder or enough beating on crap will flatten it out for ya
It wont break recent made car windows. They used to use tempered glass to easily break with tools. Now it is made just like fron windshield, hard to brake in order to prevent ejection as it has a higher chance than a car being submerged.

You're comparing KIA and Porsche, they both are cars and they both drive, now get that in yo head

That's a thinner prybar and fiberglass handle hammer vs a metal one. Not really comparable.
That said I hate the ergonomics of Milwaukees hammers
