Amazon is getting better at locking down their ecosystem.
We're not getting Amazon tablets anymore. Will switch to either Samsung, Lenovo, or Walmart.
this Amazon tablet has Widevine L1 which means 1080p streaming.

But YOU CAN NOT COMPARE the two tablets... it is NIGHT AND DAY... with the Chinese no names winning big.
Amazon does have security updates and a brighter screen and a equivalent CPU... but it is
1. THE BLOAT...
2. The NON STOP ADDS
3. how the adds and bloat have SLOWED your tablet down
4. 3GB of RAM... R U KIDDING ME!!!
R U KIDDING ME!!!
R U KIDDING ME!!!
And you mention quality control... what is wrong with the tablet? All metal design, nice fit... I still can't believe it cost less then $100 and it has 8GB of RAM G99 CPU 128GB hard drive, micro SD slot... decent screen, Zero bloat, no adds...
It is hard for me to say get the "iplay mini 50 pro NFE" for $150.00 even though it has some updates and it has flip tablet to wake when the other tablet sells for $94. But either way, unless you spend the bucks... these are the two best value tablets today.
But my iplay mini pro has had catastrophic damage... and I ended up replacing it with the Lincplus T3 (very similar to the iplay). I personally prefer the iplay but my kid prefers the larger tablet.
I have the Tab S9 and honestly, I loved my iplay 50 mini pro. There is the Lenovo Legion Y900 tablet that is sold in China that sports a SD870 8GB 256GB and a OLED screen and it is 8.8"... sells for $280.

So all that bloat and advertisement will not be stopped. And XDA Amazon Tool Box does not speed up your tablet anymore by disabling Amazon shit.
IMHO, it no longer works and there are many other ways to install the play store.
And the new models are faster... and the NEW LOW END CPUs for tablets are also faster. There are two tablets on the market... one has a 10.36" screen and sells for $94 and the other has a 8.8" screen and sells for $150ish (iplay 50 mini pro). These are the tablets to get for kids or grownups looking for a streaming or gaming device. P.S. I would not do any banking on the Lincon tablet but I would on the iplay 50 mini pro. Both tablets have 8GB of RAM and sport a G99 CPU (about the same speed as the SD695).

When you can buy tablets with 8GB of RAM for CHEAPER!!!!
You mean, the fact that it has a faster CPU/ 5GB more RAM, twice the hard drive space, micro SD card slot, four speakers, beautiful full HD screen and all metal body plus better cameras then the Fire HD10. It sure sounds cheap to me. And EVERY review says the same thing... the build quality is Way Way Way better then they every expected for a tablet at this price. And how the viewing angle is so great!
The Lincplus T3 is the perfect kids tablet and is also a great tablet for grownups. And for 90ish dollars plus tax... it is a no brainer.
The Lincplus T3 has 8GB or RAM and 128 GB harddrive and a G99 CPU/GPU.

Every manufacturer needs to pay google money to be WIDEVINE LEVEL 1 certified. This is the ONLY WAY to stream in HD (from paid streaming sites) for a Android tablet.
It does not matter if you use Chrome/Brave or an app... IF your tablet is NOT Widevine Level 1 certified then YOU CAN NOT STREAM from PAID sites in HD.
The best deal IMHO is the Lincplus T3 which IS Widevine Level 1 certified for $90ish at amazon.

WHY IS IT SO CHEAP?

WHY IS IT SO CHEAP?
YES, no security updates and yes... that is why I say this is the perfect KIDS tablet.
And it does have a warranty... WHY LIE? It has a TWO year warranty. But AGAIN, I have never had a tablet break on my due to it not being my fault.
And 8GB of RAM , 128 GB hard drive (UFC 2.2), G99 CPU, 4 speakers, beautiful Screen... does this matter to you or are you only concerned about updates?
