Upgraded to the New Fire HD 10 tablet by taking advantage of a trade-in offer with my old 2017 Fire 10 tablet. After the trade-in, I received a $20 gift card and an additional 20% discount, bringing my total cost down to $61.69 after Ohio taxes.

I understand IF your argument is about updates but you are talking about the manufacturer warranty which is one year more then most other companies.

And this 2023 Fire tablet is the first one I've used that's not so horridly slow (especially switching apps) that it bothers me using it.

And this 2023 Fire tablet is the first one I've used that's not so horridly slow (especially switching apps) that it bothers me using it.
Don't mean to discourage, if it's gotten better it's nice to have a cheaper option for a decent tablet.
I did also install the google play store which at least made getting apps better.
