One of the thinnest / lightest if NOT the lightest 16" laptop is on sale for $599. There is a new model coming out this month, so probably why it's on sale. I was hoping to buy the new one before my trip next week, but had to buy this one instead.

Depends on use case. This isn't editing videos like an Air would.
