Great price. I paid $100 for one on Amazon last year.
It's a pretty good product -- our new house has a sprinkler setup but it needs work. Was easier for now to buy a few long hoses and use this thing. It doesn't tell you how much water it used, but I'm looking into whole-house solutions for that anyway.
I have the Orbit and I'm planning to get this if I manage to find one in my store tomorrow. Main reason is to have it synced with the local weather and skip it when there is rain in the forecast. I'll use one for my drip irrigation system of my raised beds, the other TBD.
I have Rachio smart wifi timer and Orbit Bhyve smart wifi.
Bought 2 pack in Costco last week ill return it after a week of use because both wifi module is not powering on properly. Used it for a week and it rain and didn't pause my schedule.
Orbit has smart weather features built in, it will skip/adjust watering. That is a huge factor for me
Both have good build quality. Orbit has more features and more smart than Rachio
I would call that pretty useful. Unless I'm missing something? Why get so many if it's useless compared to a regular dumb timer?
They dont have the same intelligence as the Rachio irrigation controllers. There I can select the type of sod, whether its a shaded area or sunny, sloped or flat, all sorts of additional options thats not carried over to the timer. It is just water for X amount of time unless theres rain, thats it. My hope is that they will add these features later, but currently they're just expensive... and the only real option for this type of tool.
The Orbit Bhyve reviews are horrendous and I wasn't impressed with Orbit's irrigation controller so I never tried their timers. The best feature in my mind for the Rachio timer is that I can use one controller for all the timers because the signal range is great. Orbit's reviews appear to be plagued by the usb controller with limited range.

I have 5 of these. I don't find them very useful over just plain timers. The only smart feature is the rain skip based on forecast.
EDIT: See my detailed explanation below as to why I dont think these are all that great.
