these better, the splitting axe is especially effective. coupon LBXA15VQBF9L gives 15 percent off the listed price. it seems like the code has been working or not working, I think they're activating it every other day.

14": It's a hatchet. Best for cutting sticks into kindling, hammering in tent posts, or limbing a walking stick. Not very good for chopping trees as anything small enough to use a hatchet on would probably be faster with a saw.
18": Long enough to get two hands on it for small chopping duty. Small enough to use one handed for kindling. Versatile "camping axe".
28" chopping: For chopping a tree down. Good for shorter person.
28" splitting: For splitting logs for firewood after a tree is cut down.
36" splitting: Longer handle means more leverage and speed at the head. What a large adult would want for splitting logs for firewood.
Small zombies
Medium zombies
Large zombies... and so forth.
Frankly, if you're going to buy an axe with a non-replaceable composite handle, go with Fiskars for the lifetime warranty. If anything ever happens to it they'll send a new one no questions asked.
These? Knockoffs with probably ZERO warranty support: "Please contact the seller directly for warranty information for this product." š¤£ I wouldn't count on anything past the 30 day amazon return period.

Does anyone want to break down the axe sizes and purposes?
14" is sort of a one handed axe and small for portability, unless you have the strength of Thor this will be a chip away at a small tree size, or good for tight space like trying to hack out a medium size root when digging a trench or something.
The longer axes are designed for two handed use, able to utilize swinging momentum to take out bigger chunks. The splitting axes have a different design for the blade side with a wider wedge that are better for separating logs on the cut sides, separating the fibers that make up the trunk

Looks so much like Fiskars!
Anyone know whether this is a knockoff versus white label?
