Reolink poe video doorbell actually liked by ipcamtalk members .. there is even a long thread there on it.
I own the Wifi version of this, which also supports wired ethernet (just not being powered via PoE). If you have a doorbell hookup already, there's not really a reason to get the PoE version over the Wifi version (even if you want to use ethernet instead of Wifi).

It's a great camera; it even supports FTP/SFTP to my NAS in addition to storing everything on a microSD card. So on the very off chance that someone totally destroys the camera, I still have a copy of everything without needing to pay for cloud storage.

It also supports Alexa/Google Home as a chime (Nest Mini/Nest Hub/etc), and can stream the live camera footage to any Google Cast compatible screens (including any of those devices with screens themselves, like my Nest Hub).

Also a little tip -- Reolink charges extra for "Rich Previews" (I forget the naming), but it's for preview images inside of Motion Notifications (like thumbnails before you go into the app, in the notification previews themselves). You can get this feature for free by enabling email notifications and using the email address for service like Pushover/Pushbullet/etc. They're near-instant too.
I own this and recommend it. Free cloud features are pretty good and I had minimal false notifications when I was using the cloud. I have since blocked it from direct access to the internet to increase security, but I'm still able to connect directly to the camera from the app on my local network (or remotely from the app if I vpn into my home network).

There are white spots in the time line right below the video, the gray timeline, not the blue one. The gray time line is the clip time line. Tap to the white spot to jump and see what was detected.

That only works if you have one of their NVRs. If you have just the doorbell, there are no white lines.

Nope. Doesn't support RTSP or local storage on to blueiris, at least when i researched it.
I have the wireless version: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B7S3JSG7

and connected to blueiris, so I'd imagine the wired version would work just as well.
My only issue was actually the wireless signal, which was very weak and stay connected well to a router on 2nd floor, so I added a repeater like 3 feet from the doorbell on the inside of the house and it works good.

Highly recommend.

We have a seperate reolink camera system and NVR.

Our NVR is too old to connect this too, which initially I was bummed about. But with a sd card in the doorbell, combined with the app, its been great. Very snappy sending notifications to both my android and wifes iphone. Can usually get the video up before someone reaches the door.

As other posters said above, there are a lot of options, but if you don't want a subscription, this is one of the best.

Hi guys just a heads up reolink on ebay selling these refurbished for $60 with make an offer option which I did at $55 and they accepted. Free shipping. I paid tax in PA. Bought a four channel 4k refurb system last summer from them on ebay directly and it's worked great.

I have had this doorbell many months and I really like it. The only thing that doesn't work is the chime. I had it replaced and it is finicky to make it work. Basically, I have a doorbell camera that makes no doorbell chimes when someone presses the button.

My Chime works fine and never had any problems. There are settings on the chime and also in the app i think.

I worked with Reolink's support team to send a replacement but after awhile the connection issues came back. I got one of the early versions so I I think I may have a bad one. Again, I like the doorbell still.

Installed in our new home build. I prefer this over our last Ring Pro. It's clearer and no subscriptions (just install an SD card). I HATE subscriptions!

How long til they accepted? I took your advice, but they haven't accepted my offer of 55 yet.

How did you run Ethernet cable to the doorbell

I don't have this but a trick I learned about running wire in a wall with minimal damage is to remove the baseboard and make your hole in the wall there. That should give you room to drill a new hole in the cavity down into the basement. Then replace the baseboard and you are done.

I've done this when adding another outlet off of another on the same wall (for a tv wall mount).

Just adding that I also have this and it's the best doorbell cam I've tried. Better than Ring and Ring Pro and nest Hello. Using it alongside Blue Iris and works flawlessly. I can actually answer it before the person leaves unlike the other ones.

I get false alarms on loud cars and dog barking. Is there a way to turn off sound person detection?
