Cool. No problem. That is too much of an edge case for me. I have been watching external HDD for years and this a good price in my opinion. $30 for 8TB new isn't realistic for most people.

Bought one today, $67 at my local wally store. Clearance yellow tag was $113, I scan with wally app and it shows $67.

I also just found one at $67 price yesterday as employees were gathering clearance items up to update price and move around to other areas. may be worth it to check on it if your store had a few at the discounted price
