Sale Price does not include sale prices at Amazon unless a deal was posted by a community member.
Got mine today! One of the slickest deals I've been able to get! Is there any way to put this in an enclosure and use it to expand storage for my Xbox series S (to actually play games off of, not just for offline storage like any regular external drive)?
"Deal "lasted 6 min. Not many were able to snagged one. Also, SD alert came 1 hour later. Knowing SD and the staff I believe they throttle certain alerts
Have you checked your deal-alert settings? By default, you only get an alert for a deal once it gets at least a couple of thumbs-up (which can be too late for extremely popular deals). If you want to get alerts for a particular deal immediately regardless of rating, go into the alert options and set the threshold to "any rating" for that particular alert.
Mine came in yesterday. Swapped out one of cheap 1TB SSDs from my PC. The drive runs pretty hot compared to my Sabrent rocket 2TB from 2 years ago but no complaints otherwise. Registered as 4TB and had no read/writes on it. Great deal

Mine take an hour or more for the email to be sent to me and I have it set to "any rating"
Weird … I usually see alerts within a few minutes of being posted as long as I have them set to "immediate" and "any rating".
very odd that it's instant for you.
Since I've been a member, all my email deal alerts arrive about an hour or more after a thread is started, and this is what others have mentioned as well.
Just checked my various deal alerts, all are set to "any" minimal thread rating and "instant" for when I want to be notified

How do you check if there are any read writes on an ssd?

No, you need the official ones from Seagate or WD
