only had drift like one time a long time ago in 50 controllers. i've found these controllers last forever. i had more trouble with a spell of rattly rumble motors at one point. something else will wear out before your stick drifts. thats why i'm not that excited for hall sticks tbh even though sure better than not. a lot of user error on sd. meat hands.
Lucky, I've never had a controller last more than a year tops. The trigger button stop working or I get slight drifting.
Sweet looking controller. On a side note the red controller is on sale pretty much everywhere for 44.99. I have it and it's a really nice controller. Gonna get another at that price with MS rewards points
Grabbed one at Target last week for $44.99-5% redcard.
I like it as well.
Got refunded for the $39 Red Camo one from Walmart 1.5 years ago with $2 Protection Plan. Left trigger loose not working properly.
Sadly yes. The new version that's coming out soon use better joysticks, quieter buttons, and are higher quality. That's why these are always on sale now.
I'm new to the Xbox scene but is the upcoming controller the "nocturnal vapor" ?
i'm not sure what he's talking about but there was an entirely new version of the xbox controller leaked some time backed. however it was described internally (these were leaked corporate slides) as not funded iirc, in other words no decision had been made on it coming out. it was code named sebille.
some improvements: Xbox Wireless 2/Direct to cloud/BT 5.2, rechargable swappable battery, "new modular thumbstick" with "improved reliability (not needed since stick drift is nonexistent except for SD commenters, probably put that in there cus of the fakers), "continued build improvements", "precision haptic feedback", accelerometer, "quieter buttons and thumbsticks". The pictured dpad looks more similar to the Elite controller. speaker thingy in the bottom. And by far my fave new feature and blows them all away, "lift to wake" lol.
i'm sure it will be a 70 msrp controller like the dualsense. in addition, afaik sales on the dualsense are much less lucrative. so i dont think dualsense sales (correct me if I'm wrong) typically go below 60 or at most 50. You arent seeing any ~half off discounts like you do with these 59.99 MSRP Xbox controllers.
