Looks like Target fixed the price to $199 and we can see inventory at the stores. So this was a price oopsie. Congrats to all those who scored.
Agree with you that it was a price mistake as there are now in stock units of the wood fired version near me for $199 today.
I just picked up a propane version for the $76 price. Reviews have some issues with the stone not getting to temp but I'm hopeful that I can correct this (namely just raising the height of the stone) or contacting customer service for a new regulator, if it's still an issue.
I ordered 2 wood ones for pickup and got 1 propane and 1 wood instead. I'm not sure how they did that since they have different sku but I didn't question it.
Has anyone tried the propane one yet to see if it heats up the stone to 750-900 degrees?

I ordered a propane and got a wood one :/ no mention of a substitution. But may keep the wood and just try that.

Me too. I ordered a propane and got a wood one. So I got back and also purchased the actual propane one in store since their system was not showing it in stock since they supposedly sold it to me! Not sure which one to keep and which one to gift! Any thoughts?

So weird. Mine were all sold out. One across town said they had a propane so I went there and they were sold out too. I watched a video on wood last night and it does look like more work but you can just buy a big bag of pellets at Costco I think. I'm not sure now. May hold on to it for a bit and see if it comes back in stock and maybe I can get a propane one. Just since that seems more like a set it and go. People like both though, at least the concept. Not for sure about this brand as it's hard to find reviews on it.
Picked up a gas one yesterday and cooked a couple small pizzas today. First one was a failure as I didn't get the stone up to high enough temp. I recommend preheating on high and turning down to cook (but not too much as I've had the flame go out on the lowest setting).

I thought I read the higher temps were only for the upper air in the chamber, not the stone itself.
I posted a review on this thread from someone and the stone should be reaching those temps as well. They were able to fix it by getting a regulator from stoke and he also linked to the regulator which you can purchase from Amazon if you want to avoid stoke customer support.

Thanks for the reply! Any chance you were able to get to 750-900? If not you may need to ask for a new regulator from stoke.

I haven't opened my propane one yet...debating on whether I should keep it so curious if other people have positive reviews.

Thanks for the link. I haven't opened mine either for that reason. I'm waiting to see if others can chime in with some feedback.
