When you go to get a new one under warranty, make sure to tell them it was in your phone and not the dashcam.
I tried once and they denied me because I didn't use their 'endurance' line.
Also, at some point, the card will go read-only. This is to protect the memory as it gets older and unable to write correctly. You could still turn in the SD card for replacement if it is under warranty, but "they" will have it and all of your incriminating evidence!
Chose well...

My guess is that if you have a really high end camera, this memory is not for you since you need to take full raw photos and sometimes 3-10 or whatever is a second. You need memory that can write really fast, and my pure opinion without facts is that this memory is not designed to keep up at that pace.

It would work, but I had a grey model like this die from extended use because it's not designed for constant read write. Get Samsung endurance memory for like a quarter of the cost that is actually designed for constant write cycles. Furthermore, 256 will be more than enough for like 4+ hours of footage.

I remember paying $100 for a 1GB XD card back in the day and thinking I would never fill it. We live in an age of wonders.
