Yes, but...

When you go to get a new one under warranty, make sure to tell them it was in your phone and not the dashcam.

I tried once and they denied me because I didn't use their 'endurance' line.

Also, at some point, the card will go read-only. This is to protect the memory as it gets older and unable to write correctly. You could still turn in the SD card for replacement if it is under warranty, but "they" will have it and all of your incriminating evidence!

Chose well...
1 million floppy discs of data in the size of your pinky nail.
Wtf they have 1.5 TERABYTE SD CARDS NOW?!!! Omg

Your earlier points made sense but may not have been worded as precisely to your message as you may have intended. This dude however is just trolling.

It's quite slow. Mine has about 25MBps for write and 92 for read in latest uhs-ii reader.
I got 14.3 Mbps write and 94.9 Mbps read. So much for "Transfer speeds up to 150MB/s". It seems like they could say up to a zillion MB/s and say "it's up to those speeds, not guaranteed".

Lol, thanks. That's fair. I can work on precision. Empirically, I found an old DOS game I had called "stunts" it contained lots of files. On DOS v6.22. Wanted to run it and copied it over to the new system. To my surprise, it ate a big chunk of my hard drive. What fit on 1.44mb floppy drive back then took up way more space on new systems, and had me thinking. I had to read a little bit on the hard drive design with clusters, allocation unit size, and all that. In short, the problem was the number of files that contain small amounts of data each took up space. Like if u had a bookshelf and u put just one item on it and left the remaining space unused and go on to the next shelf and put another item. If the old games, which contains hundreds of files, were re-organized to use the "larger shelf space" (I.e. recoded for 32-bit or 64-bit format), that would optimize space usage. I think that's why it was smart for coders to run dos games off the zip compression on emulators. Or how they run virtual OS mode off the ram to avoid wasting space so users can have use of legacy softwares like win 95 or XP.

But u add that consumers want raw horsepower on gpu and cpu, that negates the need for proper coding (developers just want artists, not good coders). And the SDK for platforms are catering to developers to do minimal work to pop in their game and then sell multiplatform. Fez, for example, ran well on ps3 but not ps4. A lot of emulation just doesn't work as well, and a proper remaster these days aren't done with the love it should have had with men in suits running the company. Anyways, moving on.
