I have a Vizio from 2012 still going strong. Was my primary driver till 2021 and then got another.
Why not just get it from Walmart?
Vizio used to be a brand where, even though it was lower tier, you'd still get a decent product for the price. That brand has gone so far downhill over the last few years, though. Now that it has been bought by Walmart, it wouldn't surprise me if the quality dropped even more.

You guys keep saying your old Vizios have lasted almost a decade or more, like that's proving the quality of the brand still. It isn't. It's proving the quality that the brand USED to have. Vizio has been complete garbage for a number of years now. People such as yourself got your TV when they made a decent product. Your experience is irrelevant, unless someone were to go buy a used really old one. Not to mention that not every single new Vizio TV is going to fail quickly. It's just that such a large amount of them do. It's more than most budget brands, and far more than this brand used to have.

I have 3 friends that bought new Samsung QLED or OLED sets ober the last couple of years and all 3 have died and required servicing.
Never had such issues with my Vizios at a fraction of the price.

I can't say I have been impressed with Vizio. My family member's had one where the sound would just randomly get super loud, then go back to the set volume.

Mine has barely been used in the last few years, but has an issue with red vertical lines, where I have to unplug it, and plug it back in.

There is a reason they are so cheap.

Wouldn't be surprised. Samsung is the worst in appliances, so…

Vizio is cheap because they're a privacy advertising nightmare. https://www.theverge.com/2021/11/...cy-q3-2021

I've had a Vizio since 2016. Just upgraded to a Samsung 85" qn90c and only because that Vizio can't be hung on a wall and my wife is freaking out that my son will have the Vizio collapse on him.

I'm sad to see the Vizio go. They still do over the air updates for a 2016 TV. The main downside to Vizio is they try to push their lame storefront / dashboard. It took some effort but I set it up so it goes straight to Roku.

Just an FYI for anyone out of the loop: Walmart recently bought Vizio to bring them in as a house brand.

Vizio's products were already on the decline, but this might be the final nail in the coffin.

At $350 it only needs to last maybe 3 years to have been worth purchasing.

Same. I have two Vizios both with over 7-8 years on them each. I'm not loyal to the brand at all but they've been amazing
