Not bad. But as a mechanic I would get pry bars that have a metal strike cap on the handles head. They are a little stronger and give a place to hit with a hammer.

They cost a little more but hold up much better.
No strike cap on the end. Handle go boom. Still a good price though.

I have not seen any from HF that has a good metal strike cap. The Quinn, 57721, has a rubber cap. But does not look good for hitting.
I got some pry bars with a good metal strike cap from walmart. The Hyper Tough with striking caps seem well built and I have a few of them. They have the smaller/mid-size set and larger single ones at most walmarts.
HF has some decent demolition screw drivers. Metal caps etc.
Outside of the handle color, these look like some Sears "Companion" brand pry bars I bought ages ago.
When I need to do some serious prying or striking, I usually reach for a punch. cold chisel, iron pipe, or tie rod end / ball joint separator, ... I never actually use those for tie rod ends or ball joints.

Third this if you want strike caps.
They are USA made Wilde pry bars with strike caps sold under different names.
The Hyper Tough[walmart.com] set is 8", 12", 26", they also sell both 17" and 36" separately. You can also buy them at Menards under the MasterForce[menards.com] name (12", 17", 26") with green handles. Craftsman also used to sell them like 5 years ago, you can buy Wilde branded ones, probably a few other brands too if you look.
I own the MasterForce set, and I have the single huge 36" Hyper Tough bar. They are pretty nice and reasonably priced, especially being USA made with strike caps.

Saw those last time in Walmart and they were made in USA with lifetime warranty. No idea what warranty process looks like but appearance and made in USA was better than I expected for hyper tough.
Speaking of HF, I've seen similar there. Does anyone have a set from there they recommend? Ideally with a strike cap. Thanks
Not HF but I will recommend the Hyper Tough 3 piece kit from Walmart. It's made in the USA by Wilde Tool. They also have some larger sizes sold individually.

Sunex doesn't own a foundry, they buy tools from various factories in different countries. That is how most tool brands operate.
