This for $350 or the 7410 for $300? Looks to be the same specs related to the SSD, RAM, processor, etc. I'm not much of a computer guy... just want a 2-in-1 laptop that is sturdily built with the ability to most classroom/office tasks. Thanks in advance.

Don't get a 2 in1 Dell... I had 2 and both had hinge failure within 1 year with low usage..

Latitudes are among the best 2-in-1s you can buy. You probably had an Inspirion.

I got one of the laptops with 32GB RAM, backlit keyboard and SSD HD at the last sale and am so happy with it. I'll take a refurbished premium laptop over a new budget laptop anyday, didn't know what I was missing out on. The screen doesn't even bend when I open it lol

1920x1080 at 15.6"? 8GB Ram? Ooof. I'll notice that far more than any performance difference.

I have an 8th Gen 5570 Inspiron. I only changed my NVMe once. 3 weeks later it popped up. Noticed caddy underneath was toast. Looked on Dell, nope, eBay, nothing. If had a Latitude then numerous NVMe caddy replacements for generations around mine. If you can, Always get a Latitude and if you can afford it, a used Precision ( they have 3 NVMe slots, or 2 with One 2.5" SSD ) They are True business laptops. Had a Latitude for many, many, years. If willing to put Bodhi Linux or similar these actually can run for 10 - 12+ yrs.

Don't like the stories we are seeing from fellow SD'ers getting Grade A rated condition laptops which are far from it. One guy got a machine that didn't even have the SSD installed. It's the main reason holding me back from pulling the trigger on one of these Latitude refurb deals

This is a 4 year old machine. The 9450 just released - I am using one. I am pulling these models out of circulation at my company and donating them. This might be fine for some tasks, but I certainly wouldn't trust it as my primary machine. I've had 2 fail in the past 2 weeks from what seems to be heat issues. Just my $.02.

I just got a grade A Precision 5540 from them via coupon. Price is good but the fan was crazy noisy. Not an grade A machine of course.

I bought one last year and you're right about the fan going off. But I liked it so much that I upgraded and placed an order for the 5550 this time around. Came out to $460 after codes and cashback...Was hard to say no to the 4K screen, i9 (10th gen CPU), 64gb ram, and 1TB SSD. But this model only has USBC ports :/
