Like the other person mentioned you could also install standard Linux distros, SteamOS, etc but all of those will require a little more effort on your part.

The way I look at the Z1 is, if you're going to play in handheld exclusively, then it's a good value. If you want a Switch-style hybrid that you can plug into a monitor or TV, get the Z1 Extreme.

Maybe the OLED deck closes the gap as it improves in all three of those areas but I haven't used it
