It can barely saw through human bone. It took me hours to cut that guy apart for the pigs to eat. Would not recommend

The cuts are very rough with this saw. But effective, cheap and never has to be charged.

Agreed. I use an oscillating tool for drywall cuts - very quick, very clean.

Get one that accepts connecting reciprocating saw blades (preferably one that folds too)

If you're invested in any of the battery systems from Dewalt, Bosch, Ryobi, etc, they all have their own version of a drywall cutout tool. I have the Dewalt and it cuts so smoothly and quickly. For cheaper option I used a similar saw to this one when I was installing overhead lights in all the rooms of a new house that had no lighting, and of course the opening was rough, but it sands down easily to make it smooth, and since the light base will cover the hole anyways then it doesn't have to be perfect

I just got the Milwaukee for full price after considering the other options. Seems pretty well built.
