FYI

For the (48 Count) Energizer Max AAA Batteries for $23 from Woot, I see I bought this same set from Amazon for a killer $13.42 deal on a 11/27/21.

Amazon has them for $23.28 as of 10:43a EST 3/27/24.

The (26 Count) Energizer Ultimate Lithium AA Batteries (18AA + 8AA Retail Packaging) come out to $2.15 per battery and Sam's sells these all day long for $1.94 a battery. So this is a horrendous deal Woot should be ashamed of.

Just some price points when thinking about how "good" these Woot prices are.

Total scam. They sent a box with yellow on it and the word MAXI pack. Opened it up and the batteries had a yellow stripe with no word MAX on it. No bunny anywhere. 7 years expiration and the date was 2029.
MIC product. So its going back and now I am looking at the other brands. Almost all are MIC.

If anyone is near a Microcenter, they have the Energizer Max AAA 8-pack for just $1, making 48 batteries just $6.

I got excited about this for a second, but then discovered that they limit you to 5 packs, so you're limited to 40 batteries if you were hoping to really stock up.

aa fuji's were EXCEPTIONALLY BAD in this review:

a quote;

"If you have Fuji Enviro Max batteries, dispose of them. Immediately"*

*this tester used fans to test the batteries but uses them for specific purposes where the fuji's unique "erratic voltage fluctuations" make them undesirable - HOWEVER the testing comparing lifespans is still viable for most of us

Looks like the bulk of Bunny battery production was moved to China. The ones in Sams Club appear to be mostly MIC. The Sams club brand has some older stock that is made in USA.

Did not realize the change in production.

Did notice that some of my older packages said assembled in the US and some Indonesia.

Companies have been caught making stuff in China and sending the product to the main company in the US and placing a sticker on it for assembly.laugh out loudLMAO

Since they may be all made somewhere else, the link on tests becomes more relevant. Harbour Freight may be the best deal/TBD.

I've been buying the ACDelco AA from Amazon (and maybe Woot at one time?) for years with good results. Just purchased 60-pack for $15 give or take, so about 25 cents/battery which is usually my target price. Once I had a couple of them low/drained from the box when I got to them (I always used a multimeter to check battery levels), contacted ACDelco online, and they sent me a few smaller packs for free.
