the reviews are all from 2021--22

i thought it was weird, them having no red flags with 'verified purchase' reviews - it seems like this seller from guangdong with only 304 seller feedbacks might be a bit scammy ...

A lot of those sellers do that. They repurpose old listings with the new product to keep the metrics

This really bothers me about Amazon's seller listing system. Even worse, Amazon enabling favorable review farming by allowing the item being sold to change entirely: For example, sell good quality but cheap bamboo toothpicks, build up a lot of favorable reviews, and then change the product in the listing to a crappy and expensive electric bike, and benefit from all those favorable toothpick reviews.
