I've been interested in this for a while, but the randomly generated levels put me off.

This isn't a game full of hand-crafted levels. It's a game full of RNG levels. Which could be fun. Or not. It's random.

I haven't played this, so grain of salt, but for an isometric hack and slash like Hades, RNG levels work fine, whereas a Megaman-style precision platformer with random levels sounds like a potential nightmare.

This game is pretty fun and very tight controls - which you should expect for a platformer. However, I will say the rogue like aspect of it wears out it's welcome in later levels and the final stage where anything less than a great run will likely screw you out of a clear. It's definitely worth $3.

I absolutely love this game. I've put almost 250 hours into it and can beat it on the majority of runs. It's definitely a roguelike MMX. The controls are incredibly tight and the music is great. If you're a fan of this genre, I can't recommend it enough.

Got this free from Epic and play it often. It is really fun. Very twitchy and challenging every time I play. Some nice upgrades the longer you play keep it interesting. I want to try the sequel, too.
