The best model for the money is the 753 Large Air Circulator - sells for $80 but always on sale for $60
Always look at the specs for any Vornado model, the CFM (power of the fan to speak) is one of the highest on the 753 models - higher than models Vornado is charging 2x as much
Vornado's warranty is some of the best in all of retail but as a company they are moving towards gimmicks like Alexa integration vs making fans that have powerful motors
You then say why are you worried about a huge powerful fan this isnt a slickdeal for a garage fan - but if they are reducing speeds on their fans what other corners have they started to cut?
Vornado for life here but buying any model without any issues is no longer the norm

I bought and returned a 12" honeywell - my 12" vornado and woozoo fans blew it apart

As a born cheapskate, all of my vornados have been bought second hand, and they all work perfectly, quietly, year after year after year, without failure. I have like 6 of various models.
Meanwhile, I have had multiple Honeywell fans that were purchase new by me fail after only a year or 3. Lasko fans are complete POS despite being made in America - they last a year or two. I eventually gave up and started just picking up vornados at thrift stores and hitting them with a leafblower to clean them.
Vornado? Buy once, use for a decade!
Lasko? A dirty name!
Yeah, the code is done now it appears and the sale price on the linked fan is dead too. It is now back to $100, when the sale and coupon were working you got it for $50 which was a steal. Sorry it expired, I'll post again should the deal return!
I got two of them personally, one is blowing on me right now. First DC powered fan, and I love it.
