Uses Kailh Box Switch V2 White
8BitDo Retro Mechanical Keyboard, Bluetooth/2.4G/USB-C Hot Swappable Gaming Keyboard with 87 Keys, Dual Super Programmable Buttons for Windows and Android
Be warned that the 8bitdo Arcade Stick for Xbox has spotty compatibility. It does not work with Antstream Arcade or Contra: Operation Galuga, for instance.
Recently used one of my SNES 30 pro controllers I grabbed maybe 2 or 3 years ago - used it for the first time in a while a few weeks back for smash. It has seveeeere input delay. Not sure if that's a fluke or not but it was terrible. The battery died on the controller while I was playing, switched to an official switch controller and it felt like I was playing a different game.
Makes sense: your SN30 is Bluetooth. This 8bitdo Neo Geo controller uses 2.4GHz and pulls a quite respectable sub-5ms when USB polling is at 1MHz. 8bitdo makes some of their controllers sloppy, but some are also insanely fast. I love the 2.4GHz M30 and SN30.

Is the USB dongle in this deal compatible with any other 8bitdo controllers? Every so often I come across a really cheap 8bitdo controller that is missing the dongle and I've always wondered if I really need a dongle for each different 8bitdo controller? Sorry if this is a dumb question.

There are different controllers and dongles.
Bluetooth controllers don't usually come with a dongle. But you can buy a special 8bitdo Bluetooth dongle that pairs with your one controller (different than a generic Bluetooth adapter dongle) and plugs in via USB as if it's a wired controller.
Then there are 8bitdo controllers that use a 2.4ghz dongle specific to the one controller. I do not know if those dongles can be repaired with any 2.4ghz controllers or not.
Bought 2 for the Pie Retro a few months back. They have been working awesome
This Xbox version is compatible with linux? I want one for batocera but from what I saw online only the beige version made for switch and windows will work.

Can anyone shed some light on "Map anything to the Super Buttons instantly without using software." ?
I would love some programmable keyboard shortcuts but I can't install any software on my work computer (no admin privileges) so most of the programmable keyboards are out, ie. Logitech. So how would I program these buttons? Would I program it on my home PC, and then it has some internal memory that remembers it, and I can just plug and play on my work PC? If anyone has other ideas, would be appreciated as well. I sort of do need a number pad on my keyboard.

In my experience, no Switch compatible controllers work in a Tesla. Xbox and PS4/5 controllers do.
